samsung i500 plam jpilot mail seg fault

Looking for a little advice here.

I'm running slackware 10.1 and jpilot .99.8 from the jpilot.org site.

Everything runs fine up till I select the pilot mail plug in. I compiled jpilot-mail from source. I received no errors. The only thing that I had to do was move the libmail.so and libmail.so and libmail.la from where the install script installed in /usr/local/lib/jpilot to /usr/local/jpilot/plugins

After I did this they show up in the plugins menu of jpilot. However when ever I select the plugin I get a seg fault. and jpilot quits. I get not further error.

Any suggestions for trouble shooting this further and possibly finding the reason behind the seg fault would be appreciated.

Hey if people can sell advertising space on thier bodies, I figure I can make $.02 on my signature space.
