    Screenshots August 2006

Working on overclocking the new Athlon 64 X2 3800 and bittorrenting the latest Quake 4 patch at >twice the speed that I'm supposed to get on my internet. Methinks their bandwidth limiting system doesn't work so well.

How do you guys stand so much white? I work in front of computers half the day and if I had a white bg I'd go blind...

Thus why my backgrounds are almost always dark.

One of the great disappointments in my life has been the fact that dark themes for window systems almost never turn out well because people always design with light backgrounds in mind so some text and icons always disappear.

this time its a little better. i updated it to be a more summer type theme. wish i could just lay on the beach all day. the white only bothered my eyes in the morning, although during the day it was fine.

    Here's my entry: Dell C400 Latitude / XFCE 4.4 Preview / Ubuntu 6.06
Not the best use of XFCE, but I'm slowly tweaking it as I go along.
