Funny, both threads.

I completely understand the point of view from both sides. The main problem is spx2's obvious lack of social skills. I feel for him because I know how it can be. On this forum, people generally expect you to be good at communicating with computers, but at the same time, be good at communicating with humans.

It's a comprimise, you can't go to far one way or the other. In the original thread, spx made his request similarly to how you would write a progam, direct and to the point. Though when making requests from people in the community, a slightly gentler approach is neccessary (a few kind words can go a long way).

Spx2, you must also realize that you are asking for more than "just some megs". If that was all you needed, you could get it from gmail. You are asking for shell access and to be able to run scripts. Not only do these consume processing power, but allowing someone else access to these things can pose a large security risk.
