Any easy way to read image on webpage

    Hi folks,

Is there an easy way to read image on webpage because of small font size.

    e.g.
How to configure and secure Linux for VMware

I can increase the font size on the webpage but I can't increase that on the image.

    TIA

You can always download the images to your hard drive and use an image tool like Gimp to zoom in on the images. The image is static so there is no way to increase the font size on it inside your browser.

    Hi JayMan8081,

    Tks for your advice.

I expect to read the images online because they are part of a tutorial. I don't expect to down them and re-adjust them with graphic package.

    Hi dannybunkins,

    Have you tried it? Tks.

I have Opera running on this box. [Ctrl]+[mousewheel] can increase the font size on the image. But the magnified fonts are not easy to read. I have to guess. I expect to know whether kmag will be the same.

It's a small snippet of Javascript code which will double the size of images on a web page. You can make it a bookmark in your bookmarks toolbar folder, for a convenient button to press whenever you want to zoom the images.

In firefox there's a plugin called Image Zoom.

    It's a sweet plugin.

    Hi knute,

I got a reply on another thread. It is the same as Opera. Small fonts magnified are still unclear.

Yeah, i actually use it fairly regularly for this kind of thing. its not as convenient as a quick key and mouse command, but it has its uses.

    example

The scaled up images are as clear and readable as they're ever going to get if you're scaling up by a clean factor of 2 (rather than a fractional factor). Theoretically you MIGHT get more pleasant results using some sort of smooth upscaling, but I'm skeptical.
