    Screenshots November 2008

Wow, 3 days and no one has started this yet???

    Anyway, here's mine.

    Thinkpad T20 - 700Mhz - 256MB RAM
    Slackware-current
    KDE 4.1.2

The laptop could definitely use 512MB RAM, but I am pleasantly surprised that KDE 4.1 does run respectably on this older machine. By that I mean the desktop runs fine, and the only issues are when a particular app or combination of apps sucks up all the memory. All in all, KDE4 seems much easier on resources than 3.5 was.

My only disappointment is that I can't enable desktop effects due to the lame S3 video card. Oh well.

Well, as much as I like the rising moon screenshot, it wasn't conducive to my embedded terminal. Here's the current setup:

If there is a Mod that sees this how about moving this thread to the Window/Desktop Managers section.

Well I'd post a new screen shot...but apart from the calendar showing a new date nothing would have changed since last month

Sayuri Anzu is a Japanese model. I do like her work, but it is mostly to annoy the girlfriend since she knows I have a thing for Japanese women...

Or if you have the character set - 日本語のおんあすきです~
