    running mv ~/Desktop/*.jpg ~/Pictures at start up

    anyone now how ? or can anyone point me in the right direction . step by step if possible thanks

    ive tried
    system>preferences>sessions then adding it there as a script but it does not work there .. so err anyone ?

    place the script in
    ~/.kde/Autostart
    if you are running KDE. I have already upgraded my machines to 4.2, so can't verify, but isn't this available from KDE Control Center in 3.5? Just a graphical way of putting it in ~Autostart, lol.

    It is there in KDE 4.2, I use it for various backports (Amarok 1.4, Guidance Power Manager) since these are not preserved in the KDE 4.2 I am testing.

    If you are running Gnome, XFCE, etc, then don't bother reading the above.
