Notice removal

Each time on starting the browser after turning PC following notice popup;

You have chosen to open

which is a: BIN file
from: heep://ad.doubleclick.net
Would you like to save this file?
		        [Cancel][Save File]

I select [Cancel]

Please advise how to remove this notice. TIA

Thanks for your advice.

This is the host of a KVM box running Debian 5.0 workstation as OS. There is no homepage on the host.


On Iceweasel

Edit -> Preferences -> Privacy -> Keep Until [they expire]

There are 3 options;

they expire
I close Iceweasel
ask me every time

Its something from an ad site.

In your /etc/hosts do

0.0.0.0 ad.doubleclick.net


Fix your problem and decrease the amounts of ads you see on sites.
