Fox News Video doesnt work in FC12

For some reason Fox News Video, does not work in FC12, but CNN BBC video are all fine and plays. Flash is installed.

I am stumped by this one.
e.g. "http://video.foxnews.com/" results in just a black screen with a fox logo and no video.

Unfortunately it worked for me. I have flash installed and allowed javascript on the page... now I'm going to write an iptables rule to make sure nobody on my LAN can access Faux News

Sure you didn't already write one for the guy above?

You lucky dog. Not really a big loss. Works for me. You don't suppose they found out that you're a Linux using, pinko commie, socialist, progressive, liberal, Nazi, fascist, atheist and blocked you? Sorry, I digress. I'll bite my tongue and post my political ranting to the proper forum. Forgive me one and all. Won't happen again.

You probably need to add the w32codecs and check that flash really is installed. Sounds like it's not. And while your at it, make certain you have Java too.

Why are you three pushing your religious views on everyone else here? That's really obnoxious. Do people have to pass your religious/political test in order to post for support? Sheesh.

Well, I did apologize. At least give me credit for that.

No, but it's a prerequisite to pass the humour test and lighten up yourself. Realize when your being kidded.

How was that funny? You didn't address the guy's question at all, you just pushed your political views on him. It's especially silly when you get an email saying someone replied to your post, come here to see if someone answered your question, when instead they just gave you some political diatribe.

There was some tips given along with the gigs. Reread the posts.

If you will look closer at your email, before coming here, it will show you the response that was posted without the necessity of coming here.

    That made no sense.

I found the solution, remove mozilla-vlc.

2012? Oh, the end of the world as we know it. That slipped my mind. That's to occur on December 21st isn't it? Anyone know what time of the day that happens? I need to keep the day clear just in case.

By the way, I'd like to recommend the book 'Chariots of the Gods'. It's out of print but I'm sure you can still find it in a used book store. Tells how aliens helped the Ancient Egyptians build the Pyramids. They also helped the Mayans and other ancients. I think they were also the Atlanteans of yore. Good read. You might want to read up on the Bermuda Triangle too. Another fascinating story. But why go there when you can get your fantasy fix from Fox?

Once again, my apologizes to one and all. But I just couldn't resist. I'll stop. Promise. Cross my heart and stick a needle in my eye.
    Thanks,
