From 32 bit to 64 bit Mint.. Possible?

Hey, I have Linux Mint 32 bit installed (for some reason i picked that one) on my computer which can support 64 bit. I just saw that i can't fold on 32 bit linux. So my question is it possible to painlessly upgrade without a fresh install? I have a feeling it's not as a google came up with almost nothing. There was an article for fedora but that just ain't mint. It's probably not worth the effort but I'm interested.

Not possible I'm afraid. Your best bet if you want 64-bit is to download the lates t .iso and do a fresh install. Anything els will be problematic.

While, you will probably need to do a new install, it should be possible to copy all your settings and which packages you had selected to install (so long as the names don't differ between 32 and 64-bit), making it relatively painless.
