How stable is NILFS?
I'm putting together a server that will run in an industrial environment, so no moving parts (fans or disks). The resutl is the server will use SSD or CF for storage. The server will be running unattended and the file system needs to be extremely reliable. I've read that NILFS is better than journaling file systems during a crash in that a journaling systems will record that data was being written but may not have the data itself which isn't the case with NILFS. I've also read that NILFS works very well with SSD's. The question that remains is how stable is NILFS? Has anyone had any experience running it for months unattended? Are the file systems that meet these needs better?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give,
Craig
