    Install with Ububntu help needed

    Hi,
I am very ew to Linux. On my machine I have Ubuntu - it has been the easier linuxs' to install/update software. Can any one share with me the guide on how to make the installation? or simple fast start type of thing?

    Thank you in advance.

Download the livecd, burn it to a disc, boot to it, double click the "install" icon and off you go

LOL I love general answers HAHA

1.) go to the ubunutu website

2.) choose a download close to home

    3.) download the filename.iso

4.) burn the ISO image to a dvd ( if your on a windows machine try nero or Free ISO Burner

    5.) choose the guided installation

6.) if you have any questions about the install, run the live version to ask away!

As you state "On my machine I have Ubuntu". Why do you need installation help?
Assuming you have the latest version.....Ubuntu Guide. If not there are links in the wiki to other versions.
