I have a domain we can call it domain A, that needs to point to sometext.DomainB.com
mail needs to be able to got and from that sometext.DoaminB

when a user enters domainA it should immediately go to sometext.domainb
if a user type wwwdomain a it should goto sometext.domainb

but If I type email.domaina I need it to go to the email server for my hosting provider so I can read my email

I've got it all jacked up

Linux has Wine to make windows stuff work in Linux.. Maybe there should be a similar solution for running Linux stuff in windows, ('Linux Champagne').. So stick it into a Linux OS, and see what happens.. Maybe try an older version of RedHat Pro..? RedHat was built for university students to make their research work go easy, and be safe and secure.. As far as I know DNS is not capable of HTTP redirection. That happens at the app level. I believe you will need to create a virtual dummy host domain A on B that redirects to B. Howto depends on what web server is running. There are also third party services that can redirect domain A to Domain B but I have no actual experience using them. I don't know about redirecting email.

True it isn''t necessarily a Windows or linux problem per se. Red Hat was developed by Marc Ewing who was working at IBM at the time somewhere around 1993 and not by CERN.

Yes SL was based on RH but has been discontinued. CERN now uses CentOS stream and Alma linux. There are many clones based on RH that are not associated with RH.

The op should try out the project with a RedHat pro OS because RedHat is built on honor, respect, integrity, and strength for workability and security.. windoes sure isn't, not in the slightest.. I answered the question on domain redirection as best as i could for my understanding of how it all works. The OP has not provided any real information as to what web server is running on either domain. What operating system is running nor if the OS is on real hardware or a vps on a hosting site.

A hospital nurse gave me her retired W-10 touchscreen notebook... It took me 8 solid hours to clean out the messes in this W-10 notebook..
WOW!, Windows is such an offensive disgusting mess compared to Linux.. While I was fixing it up, up comes a pop-up informing me that the office trial has expired, so I tried to uninstall office, but couldn't.. I had to shred all of office's components with BleachBit, one stinking little turd at a time.. Took a long time, but office is finally gone.. BleachBit progressively stripped-out about 3-gigs of office, half the windows OS.. Office was super slowing down, messing-up, glitching-up, infiltrating the whole OS like a wide-spread cancer... Windows people like the OP should run BleachBit to eliminate microsoft's horrid office from a windows computer.. Get a Linux computer for your office needs.. Linux Mint Mate 20 is prime.. Boycott the updates, and run synaptic to completely uninstall: rsync, transmission, hexchat, ufw, and firefox, and bluetooth (in small chunks, careful to not uninstall network tools).. Install Librewolf and Portmaster.. Forget windows, it's downright evil.. This newly acquired windows notebook is exclusively for working with Audacity, Gimp, and iTunes, nothing more.. As a precaution I added Librewolf and Portmaster after I shredded a lot of the OS's messes, killed chrome, firefox, office, adobe, updates, and modified the registry a lot... Now this windows notebook runs smooth, clean, and faster.. Now when this W-10 is on and idle immediately I switch it to airport mode to prevent hacking and unwanted updates... This morning someone hit the Linux netbook with a powerful windows malware, which made downloaded pix jitter, and neutralized the scrolling, but 'BleachBit Admin' fixed it in seconds.. I suspect the hacker bully believed it was hitting and destroying my windows-10 precious newly acquired iTunes utility notebook.. Seems I'll need be a lot more careful running this W-10 notebook net-connected when resetting iPhones.. If only I knew what times the monkeys are nodding-out from their heroine and cocaino usage, then I could net-connect the W-10 notebook while they're all drugged-out asleep... When do the anunnaki monkeys usually sleep..?

Point being: Maybe the OP should run BleachBit to dump windows office, chrome, adobe, and everything else not needed, then try the project again with a cleaner more responsive OS, plus try it in a few Linux bases.. Maybe the OP should acquire a spare hard drive, install a W-OS, adding Librewolf and Portmaster, temporary disabling BitLocker and Defender, then try the project again.. There are too many criminal hacker tentacles in a windows OS for it to work properly as a reliable honest computer OS.. Windows is a multiple crime in its own right..
