I've also considered this ? with a Docker approach looks very well thought out.
i want to use Grafana and a tig stack for monitoring my PV station.


well i thought: Efficient, reliable, and portable monitoring of PV data ? a good solution is to use in combination with Grafana, InfluxDB, and the like.😘 [Click and drag to move] - in other Words: a fully fledged TIG-Stack..:

And I also think starting with Docker is a good idea: it makes setup easier thanks to docker-compose. the benefit : we can then start, configure, and connect all services with a single file (docker-compose.yml). In other words, no more tedious installation of each individual application (including all dependencies) on the system.
the good thing: The most important components that i think i am going to need to integrate are the following things:


Grafana for the dashboard, including a renderer for alarms
InfluxDB for storing data
Telegraf for converting MQTT to InfluxDB
and so on... and so forth


how to isntall docker on Linux?

Docker is Deadly to Linux.. Plus docker has no use what so ever for the average Linux user.. It's like using your computer for a garbage bin...
I tested out docker.. It totally destroyed the Linux Mint OS.. Docker is like inviting a million hackers into your computer, and giving them all your passwords... Docker is like a complete military espionage agency convention of spywares, spies, hackers, and bugs, like 'a killer squid with a thousand venomous tentacles'.. Docker fills up the Linux OS with so much crap and cyber-sewage that it makes the OS seem like it's a seriously plugged latrine'.. Docker kills Linux... I wager putin's military spies love docker..
Now days docker has been stolen, infiltrated, modified, is being used by corporate espionage hackers as a spyware tool... Why are you recommending the very worst malware to innocent Linux users..? Where's Miggleswart..? It's his turn to come in with his lies and silly games...
