Windows notebooks with ARM processors : any chance for this CPU? powerful enough?

For more than ten years, Microsoft has been struggling with Windows notebooks with ARM processors. But that's history I guess.

Now, there are attractive devices with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor.

If we come to the tech factors: The new Windows-on-ARM notebooks run much longer on battery power than x86 laptops with AMD chips. How do you think here?


Would you mind taking such a new CPU?

The computer is obsolete.. Like the Brics is trying to take over the American dollar, microstuft is trying to modernize the 'steam engine', whale-oil lamp, and 'horse and buggy'... There isn't any more new computer OS data to steal... ARM is more power efficient than x86_64 based computers. With more people using mobile devices over standard systems it is reasonable that Microsoft would adapt. On the other side many people just use their phone for everything so the market is still flat. Since Qualcomm has not provided much support for linux so getting it running on those devices is still a work in progress.

There's no reason for a Linux user to add ARM or Qualcomm to their computer's OS... There's no reason for Linux users to add anything new to their computers OS's... If 'qualcomm' and 'arm' had any value, Linux writers would include it in their OS's..
The home Linux user doesn't need to add intrusive corporate gimmicks to their Linux computers.. Linux OS's are made to function properly without adding the competitions war's corporate exploit holes, gimmicks, and malware... Everything new by miscroslopt and the others is designed to make it easy for them to invade and steal from peoples private electronic communications devices.. Private computers don't contain any data worth stealing, nor even looking at..
