    Best photoediting software?

    Need a quick opnion from you guys......What is the best photo editing software for linux, something that provides as near to photoshop features as possible.

    Gimp is a beast..... Starts up a hell of a lot faster than photoshop...

    I can agree to that, ive used gimp and have found it pretty much adaqite, i was just wonder if there are any others? Of if anyones had any good results running Photoshop under WINE( or other)

    Gimp is the best and closest to photoshop that I've seen and used. It has it's differences, but it's powerful enough to compete, and if you're used to photoshop, the transition shouldn't be too difficult.
