    KDE 3.1 on Redhat

I want to upgrade to KDE 3.1. I'm using Redhat 8 right now which I believe is at 3.0.

    http://mirrors.sunsite.dk/redhat/raw...6/RedHat/RPMS/
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/kde-redhat/

Above are the sites where I found the RPMS to download for 3.1 on Redhat.

    My questions are:

    1. Why are there so many RPM packages?? Wh isn't there just one to install KDE 3.1?

    2. Do I install them all to get the full functionality of KDE 3.1..which are the main ones?? Do I need to install them in a particular order or sequence??

    Thanks

It has something to do with re-using files from the last version.
