goood day dear friends, hello everyone,


how can I back up the tab groups in the Edge browser in a Windows environment so they don't get lost? I accidentally lost them months ago. Is there a way to back up the data? say, every few days? so I have and can preserve these collections and avoid having to restore them from scratch every few weeks?


i have asked my friends and neigboours - i asked them for help: well they told me some thing: i want to discuss this with you before i ge startindwiht - for example the following threads /metods: steps,:


a. Use Collections by right-clicking a tab group and choosing to save it to a new collection, which will be available across our signed-in devices;

b. Use the "Continue where we left off" setting to automatically restore the last session's tabs and groups upon reopening Edge; or Enable the Workspace feature (if available in our version) to create persistent groups linked to your Microsoft account.

one method (ouz of many): Use Collections

Hmmm - my friends -they told me that this might be the method that is best for saving specific groups of tabs that we might want to access on a very regular base. Well that means - "often". That said i think it has to do with some kind of a "Right-click on a tab within the group we want to save to.

after having done that - i think its obvilous that i have to look for the so called "Select Add tab to new collection" or "Add tabs to new collection" from the so called context menu. Name our collection (e.g., "Project Tabs," "Research").
