problem after processor upgrade
The processor on my linux box took a dump, so I got a newer one. Now, linux won't boot. It gets to the point where (I'm assuming) it mounts the cd rom, and reboots. When I try to reinstall linux, it gets to the same point and reboots (booting from cd).
handy information:
I'm using mandrake 9.2
mobo is gigabyte Ga-5aa
processor is AMD K6-2 500 Mhz Old processor was P 233 MMX
256 MB Ram
SiS 6326 video card
Creative 52X CD Rom
I have switched out the cd rom with one I know is good, and had the same problem.
Any Ideas??
